Special Needs: confident adopters. Albie is going to take more work than a normal puppy to integrate into a new house.

Albie has a story not that uncommon among many dogs in South Mississippi. Him and his siblings were part of an "accidental litter" to a female that was not spayed. His human parents loved them with all their might and tried to find them homes but unfortunately were unsuccessful. When they came to HSSM they were scared, unsocialized puppies already 20-35 pounds at just 3.5 months. HSSM staff has been hard at work helping them overcome their "stranger danger" and socializing them with people and other dogs.
Due to Albie's less than ideal start, he will take someone who will be patient with him as he grows and learns to trust new people. Once he warms up, though, he is an energetic puppy who loves to run and play. With a little bit of time and patience we are sure he'd grow into an amazing companion!
Albie's $250 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Please email transport@hssm.org for more information on transports!
