Meet Rosie! This beautiful Bombay/domestic shorthair gal is on the lookout for her forever home. Rosie found her way to AHS after her family went through a divorce, and now she’s ready for a fresh start filled with love and cozy moments. Rosie is a total sweetheart who would love nothing more than to spend her golden years soaking up affection from a family of her own. She does great with kids and even dogs, making her a wonderful fit for many homes. She enjoys a nice brushing, is polite about ear cleanings, and has plenty of love to give in return. Could Rosie be the kitty who brings extra joy (and purrs) into your life? She’s crossing her paws and hoping so.
All cats are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, and FeLV/FIV tested at the time of adoption.
An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment (unless your dog has had prior exposure to cats). A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption.
Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family.
Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals.
