My name is Tori!

Tori is one year old pit that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 11/24 as a stray. The shelter has her down as a mixed breed and my pet scanner said she’s mostly a terrier pit mix. She is one of the happiest dogs I’ve been around in a long time. Her tail never stops wagging. Her body wiggles all over. She’s fun to be around but she’s a real live wire. Most of it’s probably because she still has a lot of puppy in her! She gets so excited that she can’t seem to control herself and jumps on you. But she’s also highly motivated by treats so with some manners classes, training, and time I’m sure she could learn to stop doing this. She knows to sit for treats but gets so excited that at the prospect of a treat that she stays seated for approximately one second! I got dizzy trying to take pictures of her, but at the same time I was laughing at her antics. I doubt this delightful girl will ever meet a stranger. Another name for her could be Miss Wiggles. She went nose to nose with several dogs in the bay and did not show any aggression. Tori weighs 41 pounds.
