T-Coon is a tiny, once-spoiled, family-friendly couch girlie - and it shows in the sweetest way.
She has a soft, curious soul and trusts people the way dogs do when they've only ever known kindness. She was surrendered due to changing circumstances through no fault of her own, and while she's handling it quietly, she's still trying to understand why her life shifted. This isn't a dog who was meant for a kennel. She was used to comfort, closeness, and love - and she's waiting for that again.
T-Coon would be perfect for someone looking for a laid-back companion who just wants to be near you. Need a cuddle buddy on the couch? She's already there. She's timid in the best way - gentle, observant, and incredibly affectionate - and there's something about the way she looks at you that stays with you long after.
She does well with dogs, kids, and people, and would fit beautifully into a family or calm home that values connection. She walks like a dream on leash, stays quiet in her kennel, and often spends her time simply watching the world go by.

Adoption viewing hours are from 8:00an-4:30 pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays 12pm-2pm. You must have a valid drivers license to apply. We do not do home checks. Adoption fees are $35 for dogs/pups, $25 cats/kittens and $150 for horses.
Effective Monday, August 17,2015, LAFAYETTE ANIMAL SHELTER & CARE CENTER will begin accepting VISA, MASTERCARD and DISCOVER credit cards. There will be a 2.5% surcharge/convenience fee added to your total. This fee is not greater than our cost of acceptance.
Adoption viewing hours are from 8:00an-4:30 pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays 12pm-2pm. You must have a valid drivers license to apply. We do not do home checks. Adoption fees are $35 for dogs/pups, $25 cats/kittens and $150 for horses.
