Tobias was found as a stray pet near Mt. Moriah Rd. and Poplar Ave. a few weeks ago and brought to MAS by a Good Samaritan.

His pet finder says he did well with the other dogs in the home but displayed resource guarding with food and separation anxiety.
I took Tobias out for photos with a visiting photographer on 2/7/26. He did so well! He's definitely a gentle giant. He leashed up well and walked politely to the photo room. He greeted the photographer with a low wagging tail and wasn't overly excited or nervous. He walks entirely loose leash which is great! He liked being pet on his face and back, and seemed to know "sit" on command.

Our standard adoption fee is $75 for dogs and $70 for cats. This includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, heartworm test (and treatment medication if needed) for dogs, FeLV test for cats, collar, leash for dogs, and a customized ID tag.
All adoptions must be completed in-person and require a driver's license and payment in the form of cash or a credit/debit card. MAS does not accept checks for adoption fees.
