My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Aurora, a delicate cutie who is what we lovingly call a “Bashful Buddy.” She’s very shy at first and will likely observe you from a safe, hidden location while deciding if you’re friend, foe, or just furniture. Once Aurora chooses you as her person, she’ll allow pets, tolerate being picked up, reward you with purrs, and happily curl up in your lap like she’s always belonged there.

She’s now looking for a calm, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace. Aurora has lived with children but preferred to keep to herself, and she’s made it clear that she’d rather not share her kingdom with other cats. Solo cat life is her dream. Aurora would thrive with someone who understands that love doesn’t always happen at first sight and is willing to give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. If you’re patient, gentle, and open to being chosen rather than doing the choosing, Aurora just might decide you’re her person for life. Apply to adopt Aurora today!
