My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Tate! 🐾
Born 10/13/2025 | Crate Trained | Brindle Bundle of Love 🐶

Say hello to this sweet brindle boy! 🐕 Tate has settled nicely into his foster home and is now ready to find a forever family of his own. 🏡💛 He’s doing great with potty training and understands the routine, though like any young pup, he may have a few accidents while settling into his new home and learning a new schedule. 🎉 He still has a lot of growing to do and will likely be a large pup when fully grown! 🐾

Tate has grown to love mealtime and never says no to treats. 😋 His love for food also makes him easy to train, as he’s very motivated to learn when snacks are involved. 🦴✨

Playtime is his specialty! 🎾 He loves toys, especially the tough chew ones, and enjoys romping around and having fun. He’s a dog lover through and through 🐕‍🦺, and while he hasn’t spent much time with cats, he’d likely try to make friends. 🐱

With people, Tate is very sweet but shy when meeting someone new. He can be nervous at first and may bark, but with a little patience and time to warm up, his affectionate and snuggly personality shines through. 💞🐶

Tate does best with a fenced yard since that’s what he’s used to, but he can absolutely learn to go potty on leash with a little guidance and consistency. 🏡🐾

He’s a pup who knows how to balance play and relaxation. Happy to chew on a toy, snuggle up with you, or quietly hang out during downtime. 🧸🛋️

If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and snuggly brindle buddy who just needs a little patience to build confidence, Tate is ready to steal your heart. 💛🐾

Additional adoption info

Each pet that is available for adoption is in a foster home for a minimum of 2 weeks after being rescued. This allows the animal to decompress and show their true personality, which in turn helps us find their best match.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Visit https://operationfreedomride.com/ and click "available pets" to see who is available for adoption.

Periodically we have adoption events around the greater Rochester, NY area; however, we largely rely on the application process to best match people/families with available pets and then set-up a meet and greet to make sure it's a great match before finalizing the adoption.
