My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Baloo is a 100-pound Rottweiler with a big presence and an equally big heart. He can be pushy with other dogs and will benefit from structured introductions, clear boundaries, and continued positive-reinforcement training. Baloo thrives with confident handling, consistent routines, and plenty of opportunities to use his brain and body. In the right home, he’ll be a loyal, loving companion who enjoys being part of the family. His adoption comes with a complimentary session with a member of HSPPR`s behavior team. Lucky boy!

Most of the animals that come to our shelter are either pets relinquished by their owners or stray pets found wandering in the areas we serve. Dogs and cats are the most common, although a wide variety of other animals may be found at the shelter as well, including birds, snakes, fish, hamsters and guinea pigs.
