My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there nice to meet you, my name is Milo. I am a very loving boy who came from New Mexico in hopes my new family is here waiting for me. I got to TCRAS on January 28th and I have a strong feeling that I won`t be in the shelter a long time. I have enjoyed meeting all of the wonderful staff and volunteers and so far I haven`t met a stranger. I also have been very respectful of the dogs I have met since arriving, so I think I would like to have a dog friend in a new home. I would love to get to know you better, so please come in and meet me. Please know that I am a big boy and weigh about 64 pounds.

Give TCRAS a call at 719-686-7707 to set up an appointment to come in.

Additional adoption info

To adopt:
All adoptions must be done in person. Visit the shelter to meet the adoptable animals you would like to consider. TCRAS is open 6 days a week, please see hours of operation.

Your visit with each animal will be assisted by a trained adoption specialist to answer questions, address concerns and to help you decide if the animal is a good fit for your home environment (i.e. children, other pets, specific needs, etc). You can also bring in your current pets to do a visitation (this may be required with certain animals).
