My name is Mokey!

Mokey is a gorgeous black-and-white, medium/long-haired kitten with a gentle, quiet. She’s affectionate and loves to curl up next to you purring, especially with her brother Gobo, but she’s still building confidence with being picked up and prefers closeness on her own terms.

Mokey and her siblings came from a home that wasn’t always gentle. She can be a bit hand-shy and will do best in a calm, patient home with no children under 12. Her whiskers and eyebrows were sadly cut off, (they will grow back( which adds to her discomfort with being picked up. Mokey loves to rub against you, lie beside you, and purrs as soon as she’s pet.  She just needs a little extra time.

Mokey loves her brother Gobo and would be happiest adopted with him, one of her step-siblings or into a home with a young, friendly, playful cat. With a little extra patience, Mokey will continue to blossom into a loving, loyal companion.
