My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a little spice in your life? Meet Meowgarita, this pint-sized party girl is full of zoomies and loves nothing more than chasing toys, wrestling her best bud Theo, and turning every room into her personal playground. She is also excellent at playing by herself. She has recently shown interest in becoming an office assistant to her foster mom and is great company when she's working!

Meowgarita is also a snugglebug. After a long day of kitten antics, she’ll happily curl up in your lap for some purr-filled cuddles. She’s friendly, outgoing, and bursting with love, just waiting to share it with her forever family.

If you’re ready to add some fun, fluff, and affection to your home, Meowgarita is your girl. Bonus points if Theo can come along too—they love each other so much! Meowgarita mothers Theo and makes sure he has a bath everyday. He soaks it all up and let's her do it!

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group. We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Neuter/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low-cost S/N clinics.
