Rusty is pure sunshine wrapped in soft fur. This sweet boy was found outside by an amazing young teenage resident in our town who worked with her family to help TNR the cats on her street. When it became clear that Rusty was friendly and it was far too cold and unsafe to leave kittens outdoors, he was brought into rescue — and we’re so grateful she spoke up for him.

Rusty is affectionate, gentle, and loves human attention. He didn’t belong outside, and he knows it — he happily leans into love, pets, and cozy naps like he’s always known he deserved better.

Saving Livy Cat Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Florida. It all began with the love of all animals and saving Livy (Olivia Queen) from the hood of our car at 2 1/2 weeks old in the parking lot of a supermarket. She saved us more than we saved her and because of saving Livy, we won’t stop till we do our best daily to try and save all the cats.
