I adopted Ru back in December from Apache Junction Animal Control. She was very shy and timid at first but really opened up and has what I would call puppy energy at the age of 4.5 years old. She is playful and very loving. She knows how to use the doggy door and do a few tricks like sit and shake. You can tell that she loves so fully and wants to play with humans and other dogs once she gets used to them.
Though she is such a loving and amazing dog, we have one senior dog that does not like the change this has brought to her life. My 13lb senior dog likes to growl and then go after Ru. It is not a safe situation for either dog or the person responsible for keeping them separated. Ru gets along with our other German Shepherd and little dog.
