MY RESCUE STORY
I was rescued from a home where my guardian was suffering from severe dementia. As the illness progressed, my guardian’s personality changed and became aggressive, making it impossible for them to continue caring for me safely. Because of this heartbreaking situation, I had to leave the only home I knew.
Thanks to kind people who stepped in to help, I was rescued and given a second chance at life. Now, I’m waiting for a loving family who can give me the care, stability, and warmth I deserve.

MY PERSONALITY
I am a cheerful, affectionate dog who loves people and isn’t shy around strangers! Ihappily show my belly even to new friends and feel most comfortable with other dogfriends around, inviting them to play! I am full of energy and love, and I am ready to bring joy to my forever family!
MY SOCIAL SKILLS
· With People: I am very friendly and like to approach people to say hello! I can be pet and held in your arms easily and I will even show you my belly! I haven’t met children under the age of 13 yet, but I think I love them already!
· With Dogs: I like to greet my dog friends and invite them to play, especially with those of my size! I tend to rely on my dog friends, and I feel more comfortable and secure when I have a dog friend around!
· With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown (Cat test can be requested to ensure the best fit)
ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY
I have moderate energy level – I like to get my playtime outdoors and I am happy to snuggle and rest inside afterwards! I haven’t had too many walking experiences, so I may lie down flat on the ground when I get frightened. I am more comfortable walking in quiet places, and although I may pull on the leash at times, I generally follow my handler quite well!
TRAINING & HABITS
I don’t guard my food from people or dogs, and I rarely bark.
I am not too familiar with car rides and will need your assistance and guidance.
I may show some marking behavior when visiting new places.
