MY RESCUE STORY
I was born into heartbreaking circumstances and was being raised for the dog meat. After losing my mom, I was one of four puppies rescued from that fate by incredibly kind people. Thanks to them, my life was completely changed. I’m now safe, cared for, and ready to begin a brand-new chapter with a forever family who will cherish me, protect me, and show me the love I’ve always deserved.
MY HEALTH
• All vaccinations up-to-date
• Spayed & healthy with no known health issues
MY PERSONALITY
Volunteers and staff can’t stop complimenting how handsome I am—even though I’m a girl! I’m a little sensitive and shy at first, but with gentle words and tasty treats, I warm up quickly. I’m a friendly girl at heart who loves meeting new people and having fun with my dog friends, especially during playtime.
MY SOCIAL SKILLS
· With People: I’m a little shy and cautious at first, but I’m naturally curious and gentle with everyone I meet. I may need a moment before enjoying pets, but with gentle encouragement and some tasty treats, I quickly warm up and show my sweet, loving side. During my profile photoshoot, I did wonderfully—I even let people pick me up! Once I feel comfortable, I love showing my belly for extra cuddles and affection.
· With Dogs: I’m super friendly with my dog friends, and playtime is one of my absolute favorite activities! I tend to get along best with dogs my size, and I love leaning on my furry friends for a little emotional support.
· With Cats: My reaction to cats is still a little unknown, but a cat test can be arranged to find the perfect fit. On walks, I might glance at a cat with curiosity, but I quickly lose interest and happily continue following my handler’s lead.
ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY
I have a moderate to high energy level, which means I love exploring, playing, and discovering new things—but I also know how to settle down for cozy snuggles afterwards!
TRAINING & HABITS
I’m still learning my leash manners, but I’m improving a little more each day! Loud noises can startle me, and when that happens, I tend to lie flat on the ground—so I’ll need to be safely double-leashed with a harness and collar. I don’t guard my food from people, though I can be a bit sensitive when other dogs are nearby. With continued guidance and patience, I’m learning to be calmer and more patient. I’m a super quiet pup who rarely barks, and I know how to rest calmly in my kennel. I can get a little car sick, so gentle, patient care during travel helps me feel safe and comfortable.
MY IDEAL HOME
I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with:
• A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment
• A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout
• A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together
• A family that will love and cherish me forever
• A family that understands my love for food & helping me become more patient when other dogs are nearby.
SPECIAL NOTES
I’m a gentle, curious, and affectionate girl who loves being around people and making dog friends. I may be a little shy at first, but with patience, gentle encouragement, and some tasty treats, I quickly warm up and show my playful and loving side. I enjoy following volunteers and staff around for attention, playing with my toys, and snuggling indoors after a fun day outside. I’m still learning leash manners and can get a bit nervous in new environments or during car rides, so I thrive with patient guidance and calm routines. I’m smart, eager to learn, and with the right family, I’ll blossom into a loyal, joyful companion who brings warmth, laughter, and endless cuddles to your home.
