My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lou Lou – A Gentle Soul Looking for Her Forever Friend

Lou Lou is a sweet, tender-hearted girl who is slowly discovering that the world isn’t as scary as it sometimes seems. With gentle encouragement and soft, loving pets, she blossoms into the affectionate companion she’s always meant to be.
This sun-loving sweetheart adores lounging in warm rays and feeling the wind on her face. Belly rubs? Absolutely her favorite! She’s happiest curling up by the fireplace, enjoying quiet moments and the comfort of being near someone she trusts.

Lou Lou may be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, her heart opens fully. She isn’t looking to take on the world—she’s looking for you, the human who will patiently share love and trust with her. In return, she promises loyalty, gentle companionship, and a lifetime of soft snuggles.
If you have a calm, patient heart and are ready to help a timid soul feel safe and cherished, Lou Lou might just be the perfect match for you.

Lou Lou is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all of her vaccinations. You can meet her at CASPCA between the hours of 12PM and 6PM daily, no appointment necessary. For more information, please email adoptions@caspca.org.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
