My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Penelope 2 years old 63 pounds

Penelope was found abandoned tied up to a tree and was rescued by a caring couple.

Penelope is a dog that is working on learning to trust again. She needs a family that is going to give her time to feel safe and open up at her own pace. Once she is comfortable with you she is an absolute love. She offers full body wiggles and kisses.

When she was in Texas she spent a couple of weeks in a foster home. She would run each morning with her foster dad and seemed to enjoy that. She also lived with another dog.

Penelope is house trained, and loves to go for walks. As soon as she sees her harness she is ready. She is also good in the car. She loves treats and is food motivated which certainly helps with training and gaining trust.

Do you think you could be the one to show Penelope she is safe and loved forever?
