Our family found Delilah outside in 2015. She was young but fully grown so were unsure of her actual age. She absolutely loves sitting on laps and snuggling with older children and adults, but does not tolerate small children or other animals very well. She has always hated any other pets we've had and was aggressive with my children when they were younger, though is fine with them now (ages 9, 12, & 14). She would do well in a home as an ONLY pet, especially with an older adult companion who wants lap snuggles literally all day long.
Unfortunately I run a business in my home that requires my kitchen. Delilah has in the last year begun jumping on the kitchen counters and my work space, which is an issue for my business. We have tried every solution the internet has to offer, but nothing is working. She was also just diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and needs medication twice daily. I do not want to send her to a shelter, she's very sweet. Please consider this elderly girl.
