Welcome Champ to DASH! This big beautiful gentle giant came to DASH severely underweight and needing a lot of TLC. He went into our DASH prison program where he has gained weight and has become a favorite there. He is very treat motivated and will sometimes wait for a bigger reward before he executes his commands. He is working on all of his basic commands and is doing really well as long as treats are involved. He gets along great with all dogs, but he really likes playing with the smaller dogs. He is housebroken in the prison setting and walks well on a leash. He is not crate trained, just due to not needing a crate in the prison setting. This big boy is described by his handler as a big uncoordinated loveable goofball who just loves attention of all kinds. He has not been kid or cat tested. Due to his large size, really small kids may not be a good fit and apartments would also not be best for this guy.
