Leo is 2 years old almost 3. He was adopted from the BARC Animal Shelter. One MAJOR setback, he is Heartworm Positive. He is currently on a slow kill method to get rid of his heartworms his treatment is covered by BARC. Outside of his medical condition, Leo is very friendly toward everyone and non aggressive towards children and dogs though may need a moment to warm up when introduced to them. He has not had much interaction around cats though he doesn't appear aggressive whenever we come across them on walks. Leo loves getting outside and exploring. He is very good on a leash and he is housetrained! He is very social, likes to relax though down to go outside and hang out, he is very quiet and calm. I am hoping to find a home that can keep up with his lifestyle and give him more fulfillment. I believe he would thrive with a more active household especially once he is healthier where he feels less lonely and cooped up.
