Meet Rick

Rick is ready to find the loving home he deserves! We believe he is a Shepherd/Husky mix, and he is the perfect blend of playful energy and sweet affection. Rick is 15 weeks old and he loves playing with toys, wrestling and zooming with his siblings, sunning on the back deck, making friends with other dogs, and then settling in for lots of cuddles with his humans. He is already crate trained and is at the ideal age to learn the routines and rules of his future home—blank slate ready to grow into an amazing family companion.

Rick and his siblings were scheduled to be euthanized alongside their mom, but thanks to a second chance, his future is now wide open. He is ready to trade uncertainty for love, safety, and a forever family.

Rick is fully vetted, including:

Age-appropriate puppy vaccinations, rabies vaccination, microchip and neuter.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion, an adventure buddy, or a new best friend to grow up with your family, Rick may be perfect for you. His past is behind him—now all he needs is a home to call his own.

His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to VA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Rick up north to his new family.
