Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Find a new friend online and fill out the application at www.heschatt.org/adopt
- Interview
- Once submitted, we will call you to go over your application.
- Approve Application
- We will approve or deny your application over the phone and schedule an appointment that works for your family.
- Meet the Pet
- Come to the shelter to meet your new friend! If adopting a dog, we require a meet and greet with any current dogs you may have.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- A contract is required to be signed prior to taking the pet home.
- Pay Fee
- Dogs - $50
