On December 7, 2025, The local shelter was planning to abort the litter and euthanize the mama. Rorescue intervened. That evening in the wee hours of the morning, BRUTUS and his siblings were born into our rescue.
BRUTUS is now 9 weeks old, weighs 9 lbs, been wormed and had his first two vaccinations. Using the suggest google computations, we estimate that he can reach 50 lbs as an adult.
Brutus is the biggest of the litter. He has long wavy fur with shorter legs and his tail curl up. His tongue is pink. I have no idea of his breed, but his mommy is an 18 lb Siky Terrier and we are awaiting DNA results.
BRUTUS's PERSONALITY: If you are reading this, I assume you are looking for a mix breed larger puppy. This boy is a lover. We know how important that babies get lots of human contact to become a socialized loving pet. He has been showered with cuddles and kisses from the hour he was born and loved to snuggle into your arms. AND, he is currently interested in going potty outside. We think he will be easy to train.
We are looking for that perfect person who is willing to FOSTER-TO-ADOPT him until we can complete his vaccinations and get him neutered. Are you that person??? If so, please drop us an email.

I have been in dog rescue for over 20 years. I was a foster volunteer with Arizona Poodle Rescue for over 10 years. RoRescue was formed in 2016. In 2018 RoRescue rescued and placed over 40 dogs Rorescue source for rescue dogs are primarily County Animal Shelters and occasionally, we take in strays or owner surrender dogs.
