CASSIE was born in the wee hours of December 8, 2025. This was only 5 hours after her mommy was rescued from our local shelter. She is now 8 weeks old, weighs almost 6 lbs, been wormed and had her first vaccination.
BTW, her mommy is an 18 lb Siliy Terrier.
RoRescue 1/31/26 comments: Cassie has very short fur with long legs . Her tongue in pink. Due to her coloring, she may have some Lab in her.
CASSIE's PERSONALITY: If you are reading this, I assume you are looking for a mix breed puppy. This girl is a lover. We know how important that babies get lots of human contact to become a socialized loving pet. She has been showered with cuddles and kisses from the hour she was born and loves to snuggle into your arms.
We also know that she, most likely, will NOT be a tiny adult. We have done a DNA on her to get a better guess on her breed, What we do know is that she has gotten lots of love since he was introduced into this world.
We are looking for that perfect person who is willing to FOSTER-TO-ADOPT her until we can complete her vaccinations and get her spayed. Are you that person??? If so, please drop us an email.

RoRescue does not have a dedicated facility. All our dogs live in foster homes. Rorescue is partners with Petsmart Charities and frequently have adoption events at locations in Tucson. We, generally post dates and times of our events on the Tucson Craigslist in the Pet section.

I have been in dog rescue for over 20 years. I was a foster volunteer with Arizona Poodle Rescue for over 10 years. RoRescue was formed in 2016. In 2018 RoRescue rescued and placed over 40 dogs Rorescue source for rescue dogs are primarily County Animal Shelters and occasionally, we take in strays or owner surrender dogs.
