This is Archie, my sweet boy who I’ve had since he was a tiny kitten. He’s 5½ years old now, full of personality, and has always marched to the beat of his own drum. He’s playful, curious, and affectionate in his own way — he loves being pet and spending time near his people, but he’s also independent and enjoys his space.
Archie has a strong, dominant nature, and over time it’s become clear that living with other cats causes him stress. He tends to pick on smaller or more sensitive cats, and it’s created tension in our home. I truly believe Archie would thrive as the only cat in a calm, adult household where he can feel safe and relaxed. He hasn’t been around kids or dogs.
He’s healthy, litter-trained, and has been deeply loved every day of his life. This decision hasn’t been easy, but I want him to have the kind of home where he can be his best self — confident, happy, and at peace.

To apply to adopt one of our pets, please complete our online adoption evaluation form. We will respond to your inquiry promptly. Our adoption fees for cats includes Feluk/FIV combo test, current vaccines, spay/neuter & microchip. Our adoption fees for dogs includes heartworm test, current vaccines, spay/neuter & microchip. Spay/neuter deposit fees apply on any animals too young to be altered at the time of adoption, and the deposit is returned upon proof of spay/neuter.
We adopt to homes within a 2 hour driving range of MetroDetroit.
