My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ace!

Joined us in: January 2026

About Ace:
• A very sweet, gentle boy who absolutely loves to cuddle and be close to his people.
• Enjoys walks (he’s great on leash!), playing outside, stuffing his nose into his favourite stuffy toys, and taking well-earned naps.
• Social and friendly — Ace loves meeting new people and is happiest wherever you are.
• Smart and eager to please, picking up commands quickly and loving the chance to learn.

His perfect match:
• A loving home with people who enjoy staying active during the day and cozying up on the couch at night.
• An adopter who wants a true companion — Ace wants to be part of your daily life as much as possible.
• A home that will continue his training and provide mental stimulation to keep his clever brain busy.
• Great fit for families, including homes with children, cats, and other dogs.

Some extra facts about Ace:
• Knows sit, paw, lay down, come, stay, off, and bed — and is learning new commands quickly.
• Fully house-trained and does wonderfully at home.
• Not currently crate trained (it just wasn’t necessary), but would likely do well if introduced.
• Settles into new environments quickly — usually within just a few days.
• Loud noises like yelling or stomping can startle him; he may bark protectively at first, but settles quickly once he knows everyone is okay.
• Can get a bit jumpy when excited or around food, but listens very well to correction and is making great progress.

In short:
Ace is a loyal, affectionate, and intelligent boy who truly wants to be your best friend. With his gentle nature, social personality, and love for both adventure and relaxation, he’s the kind of dog who fits right into your life — whether you’re out for a walk or curled up on the couch. Ace is ready to give his whole heart to a family who’s ready to love him back
