Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**This dog is not in the direct care of Happy Tails Happy Homes. We are assisting in rehoming her from her current owner. If you are interested in Raven, please fill out an application here https://www.happytailshappyhomes.org/adoptionform **
Raven is a gentle, soft-hearted little Shih Tzu who is finally getting her chance to just be a dog. She spent much of her life as a kennel dog used for breeding, quietly doing what was expected of her. Her last litter was born in October 2025, and she has not been with a male since. Now, her breeding days are behind her—and she’s ready for a different kind of life, one filled with comfort, kindness, and love.
Despite her past, Raven is incredibly sweet and friendly. She enjoys human companionship and truly loves sitting on laps, soaking up affection she likely didn’t get enough of before. She has a calm, gentle presence and seems happiest when she’s close to her person.
Raven is up to date on her vaccines, with the exception of her rabies shot, which she will still need. She will also be freshly bathed and groomed before heading to her new home—when and if that loving home comes to pass.
Raven is looking for someone who understands that she’s starting a new chapter later in life and is willing to offer patience, softness, and a warm lap to land on. She’s given a lot already. Now she deserves a quiet, loving retirement where she can finally feel like someone’s cherished companion.
