Hi, I’m Pokey. I may be a kitten sized adult, but I have a big heart once you get to know me. I can be a little shy at first and it takes me some time to warm up to new people, but with patience and kindness, I will become your loyal little shadow.
I love lounging on top of the couch and stretching out in sunny spots. Cardboard scratchers and my rope toy with catnip are some of my favorite things. I prefer to be in whatever room you are in, and once I feel comfortable, I will happily curl up in your lap, make biscuits, and look up at you with my big, adoring eyes. I come to you for pets throughout the day and really enjoy affection on my terms.
Loud noises like vacuums are not my favorite and I will usually find a quiet place to hide when things get noisy. My perfect family will gently and patiently give me time to feel safe. Once you earn my trust, I will be your soft, sweet companion who always wants to be by your side.
