My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duke is an energetic, loving German Shepherd–American Bully mix, almost 3 years old. He’s smart, playful, and incredibly loyal to his people. Duke loves to run, explore, and be included in daily life — he thrives with activity and companionship.

I’ve had Duke for about two years, and he has been an amazing dog. He does have some separation anxiety due to how strongly he bonds with his humans, so he does best with a consistent routine and someone who can spend plenty of time with him. Duke would also be happiest as the only pet in the home, where he can get all the attention and structure he needs.

We recently moved to Denver, and unfortunately our current space isn’t big enough for Duke to get the exercise and freedom he deserves. This decision is made out of love and wanting what’s best for him.

Duke would be perfect for an active owner and a home with more space. In return, he’ll give endless loyalty, affection, and companionship.
