Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SMOKEY, M/N, MAINE COON MIX, BROWN/CREAM AND ORANGE BORN-JULY/19/2024 BONDED WITH SILVER
Smokey is a strikingly handsome Maine Coon mix with a magnificent floofy coat and a sweet, expressive face that melts hearts. A little reserved at first, Smokey likes to take his time getting to know you. It will take patience and some time. But once that bond is formed, he becomes an absolute lovebug.
Affectionate and gentle, Smokey adores being stroked and will happily reach out to ask for belly rubs and chin scratches. He is incredibly loving, super cuddly once comfortable, and thrives in a calm, peaceful home where he can relax and enjoy close companionship.
Smokey is very vocal and loves to “chat,” especially with his favorite humans — talk to him and he’ll gladly talk back. Playtime is important to him too, and he has a special fondness for stuffed toys, which he treats like treasured companions.
Smokey is bonded to his sister, Silver. He would thrive in a calm and quiet household. He has lived with dogs so would be fine to be adopted into a home with dogs.
With his gentle soul, loving nature, and conversational charm, Smokey is a wonderful mix of playful and serene — a truly special boy ready to be someone’s devoted best friend.
Location-Foster Home (if interested in a meet and greet, kindly fill out a no obligation Adoption Application and arrangements will be made).

More about this rescue
Our main purpose is to save the lives of cats in danger of death, starvation and disease and to educate the public about cats in their homes and neighbourhoods. Some of our rescues are hand-picked from overcrowded local shelters. Others have been rescued from known “dump” sites. Still others may be trapped from lives outside by kind volunteers or families or may be surrendered by families who can no longer care for them for various reasons.
