Take the Pet Home
This helps Belle's Buds Rescue with pet care costs.
For weeks… this boy was just there.
Living on a construction site.
Walking through wet concrete pours.
Surviving on scraps.
Trying to exist where he didn’t belong.
The crews did what they could — hosing concrete off him, watching out for him — but he never left. And with a hard freeze coming, it became clear… he wasn’t going to survive much longer out there.
So a promise was made:
If he was still there, he was coming home.
He was painfully thin. Exhausted. Dirty. Clearly injured.
But gentle. Trusting. And grateful beyond words.
He’s now safe and being lovingly fostered by the very person who refused to look away. This amazing Good Samaritan has committed to fostering and has already seen what a truly special dog he is — great with their family, gentle with kids, and respectful around cats.
He appears to be a young adult (around 3–4 years old), not neutered, and likely full Rottweiler. One leg/foot appears injured, and there were signs of trauma from life on the streets. After a much-needed bath, there’s still concrete stuck in his fur — a reminder of the months he spent surviving on a job site.
Despite everything, he shows no food aggression, has a calm temperament, and the kind of soulful eyes that stop you in your tracks. With warmth, food, and safety, his spirit is already starting to come back.
He has a full vet appointment scheduled for Thursday, where we’ll get answers, imaging if needed, and a plan to help him heal.
We are asking for help to cover his upcoming medical care. Donations will go directly toward his exam, diagnostics, treatment, and recovery.

He is a really good dog.
The kind that makes you wonder how he was ever overlooked.
The kind that just needed someone to say yes.
If you’re able to donate, share, or send good thoughts his way — it all matters.
Because sometimes the dogs who survived the hardest beginnings become the very best companions.
Thank you for being part of his second chance.
