* Dachshund behaviors: some barking, not excessive, barks at strangers, but given 15 minutes or so, warms up and can be picked up.
* enjoys bathes, cooperative at the vet.
* Good with dogs, has been in close to a cat (see photo) but we do not know if he would peaceably live with a cat.
* Adult only home, or gentle teens/older kids with great dog manners will be considered.
* Neutered, Micro-chipped, vaccinated, de-wormed.

We make a connection with our applicants, and we process applications quickly, call the vet, personal references, then set up a meet, pay the fee, sign the contract, take the adoption photos and send the dog off with his or her new family.
