My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Blackwell! I'm a sweet 7 month old kitty. I am an FIP survivor and even though I had a rough start to life, I am still the sweetest guy. I spent some time in a foster home while I received treatment and I thrived there. Now I am fully healed and am ready to find my forever home. As you may notice, I am a little wobbly as a result of the FIP and will probably be that way forever. This doesn't slow me down and I still love to play and climb up cat trees. I love other kitties and dogs as well, but sometimes I have a hard time knowing when to leave others alone since I may be a little hard of hearing, so I would prefer a home with patient animals. I am always on the move and spend time in my own little world exploring and playing with bottle caps. When I get tired, I love to cuddle up in my persons lap. I loved my time in foster with my family and would love to find my forever home!  I am available at the Elk River Chuck & Don's.  Please apply for me in the store!

More about this rescue

Angel of Hope Animal Rescue works with cats and dogs from animal controls and shelters. Prior to adoption pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, cats are tested for feline leukemia, and dogs are tested for heart worm. At adoption we can help you determine if the pet is a good fit for your home and family. We will share their personalities and quirks with you to help you decide.
