My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🌈 Meet Rainbow Brite! 🌈

Rainbow Brite is a 1½-year-old, 24-lb, small-to-medium-sized momma dog who raised her eight puppies like a champ—and now it’s her turn to be spoiled. She is fully grown (though she may gain a pound or two now that mom life is over) and is believed to be a mini Labradoodle mix, meaning regular grooming will be needed. ✂️🐩

She rides great in the car, walks on a leash (with a fun little zig-zag style 😄), and is a good alert barker when someone’s at the door. Rainbow Brite does well with cats inside the home, though she may bark at cats she sees outdoors. 🐱

Rainbow Brite is house trained and can comfortably hold it 8–10 hours. One thing to note: she isn’t fully used to pottying while on a leash, so a fenced yard would make things easier, or adopters should be prepared to help her learn that leash pottying is okay.

She’s a gentle, sensitive, velcro-style pup who loves being close to her person and excels in a calmer home. She may take a little time to warm up—especially to men—but with patience and kind guidance, her confidence continues to grow. She does well with other dogs of all sizes when they are polite and not overly pushy, and she’s happy relaxing in a quiet room during busy gatherings.

🩺 Rainbow Brite is:
✔️ Vaccinated
✔️ Heartworm & Lyme negative
✔️ Flea & tick treated
✔️ On heartworm prevention
✔️ Microchipped
✔️ Will be spayed prior to adoption

💲 Adoption fee: $250

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who just wants to be near her person and enjoy a peaceful life filled with cuddles and love, Rainbow Brite may be your perfect match. 🌈🐾
