Mishka is an adorable little mixed-breed low rider who recently came into the care of FDHS as a transfer from Paulding County Dog Warden, along with a few other pups. She’s a stocky little bear of a dog with the sweetest demeanor.
Mishka is very shy and hasn’t had a lot of socialization prior to coming into our care, so everything still feels pretty big and overwhelming to her. She has lived with many other dogs and would love a future home with a canine buddy to help her feel safe and confident. We don’t know if she’s ever been around cats, but she doesn’t seem to have much of a prey drive.
She’s still very unsure on leash and startles easily, so a home with a securely fenced yard or someone able to safely and confidently get her outside for bathroom breaks would be ideal. Mishka and her friends are still very new to FDHS and are taking time to decompress after their big adventure.
Mishka is officially accepting applications to find her forever family. We’ll be updating her description as we continue getting to know this sweet girl and watching her confidence slowly grow.
