Special medical needs: none! She’s a happy, healthy girl! Already spayed, chipped, and current on vaccines
Dog 🐶 friendly: good with known dogs & playmates. Takes time to warm up to new dogs
Cat 🐱 friendly: unknown
Kid friendly?: dog savvy kids 10+ would be best. She’s super friendly but still learning not to jump in her excitement, we wouldn’t want any small kids inadvertently knocked over
House 🏠 broken: Yes!
Crate trained: Yes, however is not crated when home alone. Rosie does fine being outside of her crate.
Leash trained: Yes
Travel well in the 🚗: Rosie does fine in the car and will be quiet in the backseat, but does not particularly enjoy car rides.
Energy level (on a scale of 1-10, 1 being total couch 🥔, 10 the energizer 🐰): 8. Rosie enjoys napping and relaxing most of the day, but needs to get her energy out. If she is not walked or exercised she will get evening zoomies and be jumpy.
Fenced yard required?: not required, but definitely preferred.
Ideal family dynamic/living situation: Anything! Rosie has lived in an apartment getting plenty of daily exercise on walks and also lived in a home with a fenced in yard. Rosie has lived as an only dog and with other dogs in the house before.
Favorite toys 🧸 🎾 and activities: Rosie loves squeaky and stuffy toys!
Anything special about your foster pup that would make them stand out: Rosie went through a 1:1 training package with a professional dog trainer and knows commands like sit, stay, down, paw, come, etc.
Say hello to Rosie!

More about this rescue
Renee's Rescues is an all-volunteer rescue organization based in Delaware. Our focus is to rescue misplaced, abandoned, mistreated, abused and/or ill canines and place them into loving homes.
We do a significant amount of rescue work with dogs acquired from large-scale breeding operations. Most, if not all, spent life in cages or outdoor hutches prior to rescue. Our dedicated foster families assist with house-training and crate-training before they are adopted. Additionally, our fosters provide extra TLC and socialization. This enables them to flourish as they start their new chapter of life.
On the fence about adopting? That's okay! We are always looking for new foster families. We provide all veterinary care and supplies. You provide the love. To learn more, please visit www.reneesrescues.org, and fill out a foster application under the Forms tab. You can email your application to applications@reneesrescues.org.
