Radar is a 1 year old male neutered 42lb malinois/dutch shepherd. Embark came back as 100% Dutch shepherd, but he is solid black. He is extremely friendly and loves people. He is confident, outgoing, and wants affection. He doesn’t pay much attention to my dog, but I am told he’s done well at dog parks in the past. I have not had him around kids; he is very friendly, but also exuberant, so his suitability with kids depends on the individual kids’ tolerance level. He is very high energy, toy driven, food driven, and would make a great working dog, except that he does not do well in the car. He needs a home to provide plenty of exercise, training, and attention, but that doesn’t need him to travel. He is housebroken, crate trained, has good obedience on and off leash, and has been working on settling and house manners.
I took him in to prevent him from going to a county shelter and am looking to rehome him because my 8 year old malinois is very stressed by him.
