My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hi… I’m Junior. I know I look like I’ve been through a few things.  Life wasn’t always easy for me, and it shows a little on the outside. But inside? I’m soft as can be. I’m a gentle guy who moves slowly and thinks things over before I jump into anything. If you sit with me quietly, I’ll come closer… then a little closer… and before long, I’m leaning into your hand like I’ve known you forever. I try to be brave, but when another cat comes in with a big personality, I tend to shrink back and let them take the spotlight. I feel safest with calm companions — the kind who don’t mind that I’m still learning how to trust fully. What I really want is a peaceful home where someone sees past my tough-guy exterior and notices the sweet, tender heart underneath. If you’re patient and kind, I’ll give you all the quiet love I’ve been saving up.

Estimated Birthdate:  7/19/23

Likes:  Being safe and being loved.

Dislikes:  Being yelled at or intimidated by another cat.

To schedule a meet/greet with this pawsome kitty, we recommend that you complete a Pre-Adoption Application, which is available here:   https://www.shelteringhands.org/adoptionapplication
