Meet Walter! Walter is a dog who was found wandering the streets locally. He was brought to the Niagara county spca, but quickly got picked up by a volunteer here at 716 PAWS. I mean, really, who could resist that cute brown nose and those ears?
Walter would be an excellent addition to any family. He’s incredibly smart and a very quick learner. He’s great in a crate. Just being in his foster home for a few days he’s already figured out his bathroom routine and doesn’t have accidents in the house. He’s a small to medium sized dog, so he’s not too big for apartment living either! He’s truly a dog that would work for any family dynamic.
Walter’s favorite things include being talked to like a baby, playing with other dogs, cuddling with his people and running outside in the snow! To know Walter is to love him!

Submit Application
First you will need to submit an application on our website. Once your application is received we distribute to our volunteers to process.
Home Check
This visit is a non dog meeting where a volunteer will meet with you and the members of your household to discuss the adoption process.
Approve Application
Once you have been approved you will need to contact us via email or Facebook to add your name to the list for one of our dogs.
Meet the Pet
Once your name comes up in the order of approved adopters, the foster will contact you to schedule a meeting.
