My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** COURTESY LISTING *** PLEASE CALL OR E-MAIL THE PERSON LISTED. DO NOT CONTACT WARF AS WE HAVE NO FURTHER INFO. Swayzee (AKA: Bubba Dog) is active, playful, and loves toys. He loves his daily walks and playing fetch. He's a snuggler and loves nothing better than curling up on the floor by your feet (sometimes right on top of them), or just resting his head in your lap while you read or watch TV. He'll climb up in your lap for a nap if you let him! He loves his blanket even though you'd never know it by the way he chews on it! I've made extras to send with him to his new home, so he'll have a little of us going with him. Swayze is good with children and other calm animals (including cats). He pretty much ignores them and just does his own thing. He thinks he's a "people." Swayzee has always been an indoor dog and is house trained. He will sit at your back door to let you know he needs to go outside, and he'll do the same to let you you know he's ready to come back in. One other thing, he's a well trained hunting dog and has retrieved many ducks in his 8 years. He loves going hunting and is a loyal companion. Swayzee was my husband's best buddy. Steve passed away last year, and I'm unable to care for Swayzee on my own. I no longer have the yard he needs or the ability to take him on the daily walks he so looks forward to. I'm looking for someone to give Bubba a forever home. I promise you, the love you give him, he will give back to you ten fold. We have a network of foster homes where the animals reside while waiting for adoption. Our website is kept updated with adoptable animals. We are building a sanctuary which will house adoptable animals and permanent residents.

On occasion we do adoptions at various locations. Check our website or Facebook for details.
