My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lulu, born approximately 4/16/2022, is an absolutely stunning, photogenic, Tuxedo beauty with vibrant, green eyes and the most purrfect moustache. She is a princess in a Cats body and expects to be treated as such. She loves cozy beds, to be talked and sung to, and will charm you until she has you wrapped around her dainty paw. She prefers to be someone’s one and only but will tolerate another lowkey cat in the home. Lulu isn’t a fan of change and thrives in a stable, quieter environment with lots of love and attention. She is waiting for someone to pick her as their very best girlfriend.

A letter from Lu:
Let's get a few things straight, you are here to:
✔️ feed me treats and Lil Soups twice daily
✔️ clean my toilet
✔️ provide my daily happy pills-yes I’m medicated and not ashamed-for this earthly existence is simply too much of a burden to bear withhout proper serotonin reuptake inhibitors
✔️ give me exactly 3 scratches whenever I demand them. And yes, I said demand.

You are human, therefore beneath me-a peasant, a servant. Some lesser cats may have forgotten the days when we were messengers of the Gods but I have not. My current servants say I have a "superiority complex.” It's not a complex, I'm just better than you. I’m clearly royalty-just look at my purrfect milk stache. Accept that I will judge you, heavily, blatantly, obviously, from atop my throne and that I reserve the right to slap you at any time for any reason and we will get along fine. Don't like that? You probably wouldn't live up to my standards anyway.

There are precisely two humans who understand my needs and I return the favor by requiring them perch me upon their chest for as long as I see fit, often times “smothering them with affection,” or whatever they call it. Make no mistake, they’re there FOR me.

If I can find one of these similar types of humans to then take me back to their castle at the end of the day, I will accept stepping down from my throne in the clinic breakroom and taking over a new throne. My presence is a gift and I will grace those only worthy of it. You may inquire to see if you’re worthy of my time by emailing my purrsonal assistant at petadoptions@sheetspetclinic.com

Love, Lulu

Adopting from Sheets Pet Adoption is simple! Request an application, answer a few follow-up questions, then when your application is approved, we set up a meet-greet. The application helps us guide you to your best match. If we do not have your best match, we can refer you to other great rescue groups.

Write petadoptions@sheetspetclinic.com for application. Or you can find a printable application on our website under the Adoptions tab.www.sheetspetclinic.com

Our adoption fee is $100 for each cat 6 months and older, $150 if you adopt two 6+ month-old cats at the same time. $125 for each kitten, $200 for two kittens adopted at the same time. That fee includes spay or neuter, microchipping (we register the chip for you), testing for FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and/or FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), current, age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment and deworming. All adoptees receive an “exit exam” from one of our veterinarians before going home.

BONUS! Adopt a Sheets Pet Adoption cat or kitten and receive discounted vaccines for the life of your pet! More details on adoption.

NO RISK! Adoption fee is refundable for two weeks to make sure you've found a match for your household. Even after two-week period, we'll take the adopted cat back for any reason.

Come to our adoption fairs, held every second and fourth Saturday at Sheets Pet Clinic (809 Chimney Rock Court, Greensboro, NC, 27409) from 1-3pm, unless the Saturday falls on an observed holiday. At the clinic on those days, you can visit sometimes 40 kittens/cats at one time, interact with them in a quiet environment, spend as much time as you like with them in exam rooms. Foster parents or staff are always on hand to help you make the best match for your household. Watch for announcements on our Facebook page!

Our $75 adoption fee includes: FeLV and/or FIV test, spay or neuter, microchip insertion and registration, age-appropriate up-to-date vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and any other medical care needed. Basic responsible pet ownership is annual wellness exams, booster exams, current rabies and distemper vaccines for cats & dogs. Dogs must be on heartworm prevention. Pet cats, inside or outside, must have tested negative FeLV/FIV, and proof of a negative test result is required. Cats and dogs in the household must be spayed or neutered.
