Rory is a 2.5-year-old Golden Retriever mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love for her people. She is truly wonderful with humans of all ages and absolutely adores kids. Rory thrives on human connection and is happiest when she can be part of everything her family is doing.
Rory is a medium-sized girl who is housebroken, well-mannered, and easy to live with. She enjoys companionship, routine, and being close to her people, making her a lovely match for a family looking for a loyal, affectionate companion.
While Rory loves her humans wholeheartedly, she prefers to be the only dog in the home. She doesn’t want to share her family’s attention with another dog and will do best as your one-and-only canine companion. In return, she’ll give you all of her devotion, loyalty, and love.

Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet!
The adoption fee of $300 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
*please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.
