Boots is a nervous, sweet 2-year-old heeler mix who came to us from a hoarding situation in January 2024. She had a tough start to life and was returned after adoption because she's still very puppy-like and needs help learning the basics. The loud shelter environment can be overwhelming for Boots, but she truly shines in our play yardÂ—she's obsessed with it and opens up so much more there, showing her playful side. Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an adoption application. We do our best to review applications within 24 hours. You will be notified when your application has been approved.
Our adoption fees are $85 for cats and $140 for dogs. All of our animals will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX/ Fiv-Felv tested and UTD on all age appropriate vaccinations prior to adoption.

The Humane Society of Warren County is located at 1245 Progress Dr. Front Royal, VA. We are open Thursday-Tuesday from 10:00-4:00 for adoptions. We are closed to the public on Wednesdays for deep cleaning.
