Hi, I’m Polly Pocket, a beautiful dilute tortie with a big personality packed into a perfectly sized package. I came to FOHA just as winter rolled in, and thanks to an amazing FOHA volunteer (who braved a snowstorm 💙), I headed into foster instead of settling into shelter life. That cozy decision turned into something special, and I’ve been happily thriving in foster ever since alongside my buddy Goshen.
You might hear me called Polly, Pollyanna, or my affectionate nickname… Chaos 😼, and honestly, all of them fit. I’m endlessly curious and explore my world with confidence and enthusiasm. I don’t hesitate to investigate new spaces, climb anything I can, or chase my feline friend in the name of play. Life is an adventure, and I intend to experience all of it.
Despite my playful, energetic side, I’m also a total sweetheart. I enjoy cuddles and affection, especially on my terms, and I don’t mind being picked up. I balance independence with connection beautifully, making me a fun and engaging companion for someone who appreciates a cat with personality.
🐾 A Few of My Favorite Things:
Climbing, exploring, playing chase, gentle pets, chin scratches, playful (but polite) nipping, and watching nature shows or TV in general. I’m not especially food-motivated, but I am very curiosity-motivated, if something interesting is happening, I want in.
🏡 What I’m Looking For:
A home that appreciates an inquisitive, playful tortie who likes affection but also values her independence. I’d love people who enjoy interactive play and don’t mind a cat who keeps life interesting. If you have another cat or a dog in the home, I will go home as foster with intent to adopt so you can see how things go!

Walk-ins are welcome at the shelter Friday, Saturday or Sunday 12-5pm. If you submit an application ahead of time we will send you a link to sign up for an appointment Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
