If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
had him since he was about 4 months old, and he’s been a loyal companion through many tough times. He is 4 going in 5 in April. He came from a loving home and has always been cared for deeply.
He’s kind, affectionate, and loves to snuggle. He enjoys being outdoors, running in open fields, and has gone on a few hikes. He is house-trained and off-leash trained with decent recall, though continued reinforcement would help improve it.
He’s very well-socialized and has lived around dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and lizards. He attended boarding when he was younger and has experience at dog parks. He does well with kids. I recommend ages 5 and up since he can get playful and doesn't always realize his size.
He takes some time to warm up to men, something he’s always had despite never being abused. With patience and a few visits, he becomes comfortable and loving.
This decision hasnt been easy, and Im committed to finding him a home where he’ll be truly loved and understood.
