Spice is a very sweet and affectionate young adult cat found dumped at a local vape shop with 2 12-week-old kittens we assume are hers as she was nursing them. We were worried she was pregnant, however an US ruled that out. She is missing one of her canine teeth and a few smaller teethe near them, sadly most likely from being kicked as she is young and her teeth and gums are in good condition. Spice is one of those loving cats that comes right out of the carrier and rubs on your legs and goes belly up for belly rubs. She loves sleeping with her people and following them around all day. The only thing she likes better than belly rubs is ear and chin scratches. She has no issues eating dry food and quite enjoys it. She is on the plumper side, but we have not been feeding her diet food. She is good with other cats, takes a few days to be buddies with them, the first few days she watches them from afar or if she is with her people she feels safer earlier in approaching new cats. She ignores the dogs. She is a very laid back lover of people and would make a great addition to any home.

At Cleo's Legacy, we are committed to making a positive change in the lives of homeless dogs. Our organization was founded in 2024, after founder, Alex Siska, lost her soul-dog & lifelong companion to old age.
Cleo helped pave the way for rescue work when she was brought home infested with parasites as a baby. Cleo’s brilliant joy, empathy, and love introduced Alex to open her heart for dogs found on the street and at local shelters. Through volunteer work, we saw a need when we realized there were very few volunteers in the Bracken County area, and even less funding. These predicaments didn’t stop the shelters influx of dog dumps and continued over-capacity.
Since then, Cleo’s Legacy has been dedicated to providing a variety of services for homeless dogs - including fostering, adoption, medical care, and funds toward training. We believe in the power of community and working together to make the world a better place.
