My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Oliver!

He is a gentle, soft-hearted rabbit with a calm and thoughtful demeanor. While some rabbits are all zoomies and bustle, Oliver prefers life at a quieter, slower pace. He is the kind of bunny who takes his time, observes the world around him, and approaches new experiences with quiet curiosity.

Oliver is shy at first, but once he feels safe, his friendly nature shines through. He’s not one to demand attention, but he truly enjoys kind words, gentle pets, and peaceful company. His sweet, mellow personality makes him a wonderfully comforting presence to have around.

Oliver originally came to the rescue with another rabbit, but like many rabbit pairs, their bond changed over time and ultimately broke. While he’s been managing on his own, Oliver is clearly a social soul at heart and would likely thrive with a calm, compatible friend who matches his easygoing energy.

If you’re looking for a tender, low-key companion who brings warmth rather than whirlwind, Oliver could be the perfect addition to your home. With patience, kindness, and the right bunny buddy, this gentle boy has so much love to give.

Additional adoption info

Matchmaking is what we love to do. We do our very best to find the best fit for the pets awaiting adoption at the Rhode Island SPCA. The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant. You are always welcome to contact us anytime about the status of your application at adoption@rispca.com.
