Yoda was recently transferred to DHS with his brother Buck. While they enjoy each other’s company, they are not bonded and can be adopted separately.
Yoda is a 5-year-old shepherd/husky mix (breed is a best guess) with energy to spare! He would excel as a hiking, running, or camping companion. True to husky form, Yoda is a talker and loves to express himself. He’ll need plenty of active outlets and adventures to keep him both mentally and physically happy.
While it’s unknown if Yoda is house- or crate-trained, he keeps his shelter kennel clean. He continues to enjoy playtime with Buck, but his behavior with other dogs is still unknown. With his happy-go-lucky personality and proper introductions, we expect he could do well with the right canine companions.
Yoda would benefit from some help with basic manners and leash training, but with his affectionate and playful nature, he’s ready for a loving, active home that can match his energy and enthusiasm. 🐾💙
