If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Carl is a sweet, easygoing 3-year-old who excels at being a companion. He’s a true couch potato who loves curling up next to, or near, his people for a nap.
Carl came to us as a puppy (10 weeks old) after being found abandoned in a parking garage. He’s grown into a loving, social dog with a gentle temperament. He’s very responsive to treats and positive reinforcement, walks well on a leash, and is house trained. Carl is friendly with people and nearly every dog he meets.
At home, Carl is laid-back and affectionate. He does well with children and would be happy as an only dog or in a home with other dogs. He is not a fan of cats, and chicken doesn’t agree with his stomach.
Carl would love a fenced yard where he can sniff and relax in the sun, but most of all he just wants a cozy home and companionship.
An adoption fee of $150 will be requested to help ensure a committed, thoughtful placement.
