My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ollie is the tiniest little nugget of a pup! Ollie was rescued when a Good Samaritan noticed that he and another dog were being left in crates in an oen to the sub freeIng weather and stepped in. Ollie turned out to be younger tban the owner had stated, but our rescuer got them to safety- warm and appropriately fed.

Now, happy in foster, Ollie plays well with his people of all ages,and other dogs. Ollie will be a small dog, with that big Chihuahua personality.

Ollie will be old enough to start his vaccination series soon, receive his Microchip, and ready to go to his forever family.

1.
Submit Application

Please submit an application to express your interest in a dog. We will do our best to respond quickly, please be patient

2.
Home Check

This will be a virtual review of your home and time to check references.

3.
Interview

You will have a phone interview to discuss your questions, information about the dog, and best dog for your exact situation.

4.
Approve Application

This will occur after the above steps and positive phone interview.

5.
Meet the Pet

A meet and greet will be scheduled. If everything is as expected, we plan on the dog going home with you from this meeting.

6.
Sign Adoption Contract

Must be completed at or prior to the meet and greet to result in an adoption.

7.
Pay Fee

Then take pet home and live happily ever after together!

More about this rescue

We are a committed group of dog lovers who have decades of experience in dog rescue, volunteering at animal shelters and owning rescue dogs. Most recently, our two founders, have been working with rescuing dogs from Mexico and the Asian dog meat trade as well as California kill shelters, Midwest puppy mill breeder releases and rehoming owner surrendered dogs in Washington and Oregon.

Deciding that we are able to rescue more by combining forces, Pacific Rim Rescue was formed. Our mission is to rescue dogs from devastating conditions from countries of the Pacific Rim.

We are committed to providing foster homes, veterinary and behavioral training for these dogs, so that they may live happy and fulfilling lives in their forever homes.
